Comfort Food

  • Whether you book 4 ,6 or 10 rooms, you will have access to all common areas and equipment at your disposal on a private basis.

  • Hand sanitizer is provided at hotel entrance.

  • Please do not smoke in the room. Each room has a balcony where smoking is allowed. Please be informed that each room is equipped with smoke detector that will go off if smoking is detected.

  • Please kindly note that rooms will be arranged for your arrival and thoroughly cleaned after your departure. The bath towels will be changed every 3 days, unless you need some new linen or towels.

  • Please note that our second kitchen by our restaurant “La Terrace” overlooking the Mekong in the traditional Wooden House will remain closed until further instructions by Cambodia Health Authorities regarding Covid-19 pandemic.

  • The essentials of a pastoral breakfast to start your day will be set up in the lounge at your disposal : Coffee, tea, milk, juices, local bread and madeleine cakes, homemade jam, butter, fresh fruit from the market.

  • Feel free to use the kitchen located next to the bar in the historic  mansion as your own to prepare your meals. You will find the following equipment at your disposal: fridge, freezer, rice cooker, coffee machine, boiler, coffee/tea mugs, various kitchen utensils, gas stove and oven, microwave, pans, pots, plates, glasses, bowls, knives, forks, spoons, chopsticks, wine cellar.

  • Beers , Sodas (Coke, Fanta, Schweppes, soda water) and purified water can be bought at the shop on the main road, just on the right hand side of the entrance gate.

  • A short yet excellent selection of wines has been set for Le Relais guests by La Résidence Restaurant in Phnom Penh. Please see our wine list here.

  • If you prefer to have a relaxed meal right next door, we recommend Phnom Phlung Restaurant, on your righthand side when exiting the hotel.

What to Do

  • First of all, for all teleworkers and homeschoolers, high-speed Internet is at your disposal! Click here for your WiFi password.

  • Swimming Pool: from dawn until dusk. Towels are provided on the chair and can be left in the basket by the pool once you leave the pool area.

  • Several recreational games are at your disposal: billiard, chess and game board in the lounge, badminton set, petanque set. 

  • Yoga mat, bolster, blanket and blocks for your exercise.

BBQ, Local Market

  • A BBQ charcoal station is at your disposal for your lunch/dinner party.

  • Cooking oil, salt, pepper, soya sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce will be provided in the kitchen. 

  • Many fresh local products can be found at Chhlong Morning Market: - vegetables (tomato, carrot, eggplant, potato, lemon, salad, pumpkin, onion, garlic) local fruit, local cakes, Asian noodles, rice. - meat (chicken, pork, pork spareribs, local beef) fish from the Mekong, eggs. Our staff can assist you for shopping at the market.

  • Please feel free to bring your favorite foods for breakfast and BBQ as they cannot be found in Chhlong, such as: milk, cream, butter, yogurt, cereals, cheese, canned beans, ham, bacon, sausages, lamb, imported meat…
